SHFT-IN Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: January 27, 2024

This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which you can cancel your booking and receive a refund for your accommodation at SHFT-IN. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.

1. Cancellations:

  • 7 days or more before your arrival: You will receive a full refund of your prepaid accommodation charges.
  • 3-6 days before your arrival: You will receive a 50% refund of your prepaid accommodation charges.
  • Less than 3 days before your arrival: No refunds will be provided.

2. Non-refundable charges:

  • Cleaning fees, security deposits, and any additional services purchased are non-refundable except in cases of extenuating circumstances determined by OVBO.
  • Early check-out does not entitle you to a refund for unused days.

3. Extenuating circumstances:

In some cases, we may consider offering a full or partial refund even if your cancellation falls outside the standard timeframe. This may include but is not limited to:

  • Medical emergencies (documented proof required)
  • Visa or travel restrictions
  • Natural disasters affecting travel
  • Death of a close family member (documented proof required)

4. Procedure for cancellation:

  • All cancellations must be made in writing to care@shftin.in or through your online account (app).
  • We will confirm your cancellation by email and process your refund within 7 business days.
  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method used for the booking.

5. Booking modifications:

  • Changes to your booking dates may be possible depending on availability, and may incur additional charges or result in a partial refund.

6. No-show:

If you do not arrive for your booked stay without prior notification, you will not be eligible for a refund.

7. House rules:

Please note that violation of house rules may result in cancellation of your booking without a refund.
